After our winter holiday, welcome back for our  spring term 2022

Happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone who supported the pre Christmas wind down. We raised £215 for Roundabout through this event. This means we have raised a total of £850 for Roundabout during the Pandemic. This is very much appreciated! 

Roundabout is South Yorkshire’s local youth housing charity providing shelter, support and life skills to young people aged 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Weekly timetable

Monday Morning Meditation

08:30-09:00

A good start to the week! 

Tuesday Morning

10:00-11:30

Yoga & deep relaxation

Wednesday Evening

18:00-19:30

Yoga & deep relaxation

Thursday Morning 11:00-12:15

Recuperative Yoga & deep relaxation

(or just come for a 20 minute lunchtime Yoga Nidra at 11:55)

If you can’t spare the full 90 minutes it is also be possible to come to just part of the class, joining or leaving at 11am on Tuesday, 7pm on Wednesday and 11:55 on Thursday. The first part of the class is relaxation/breath awareness and asana (postures) and the second part of the class will be breath practices and yoga nidra deep relaxation and/or meditation.

Before starting a new meditation technique next week, today’s practice gives us the opportunity to be still and use the breath to connect with our inner stillness and then review and appreciate some of good things in our lives.

Demonstration of the mermaid turning. Good for ankles, knees, hips and provides a side bend and turn for the spine.

These two practices are helpful for releasing tightness and holding in the psoas muscle, letting go of unnecessary tension. Really helpful for achy lower backs.
